Food is great, service is quick and location is beautiful. Such a lovely spot to sit outside and watch the sunset. Only negative is the serving sizes for what you pay, it could be slightly more generous. Other than that, recommend and added bonus, park your boat directly in front!
This was the first time Ive come to Catch 22 and the food was outstanding, a huge surprise for the usual fish-and-chips-for-tourists Dolphin Quay. We had the $55 all you can eat tapas for three, and we were determined to eat more than the $165 price tag worth of food, which ended up being extremely difficult. I wouldn't recommend it for only two people, it would be way more cost effective to buy a couple of plates each. The food was so well presented and so tasty, we ended up forcing 8 plates of tapas down in order to break even, but fortunately they were each superb. The dessert was delicious but I would have preferred to have chosen my own from the menu. The Sherbinator cocktail was absolutely brilliant, tasted exactly like sherbert lemonade, although it was hard to find the vodka. And there was a bit of a mix up with one of our plates going to a different table, but the replacement came out so fast and the staff were so nice and accommodating. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch.
Visited as an impromptu walkin and was seated on a decent table. This place gets no points for style or decor, it was eclectic but didn't seem to make a lot of sense and a bit dusty. Food was nice overall. Arancini was bit bland, chicken Satay was nice, mac and cheese balls were delicious. Lamb ribs were a bit fatty but might have been the pieces we got - some were great some were bad. Service was friendly and attentive and would try again.
Really cute restaurant with beautiful views overlooking the Dolphin quay marina in Mandurah. Came here for Bridal 0High Tea. Staff were amazing! Friendly, helpful and always willing to cater to our needs and even allowed myself and a friend to come in early to set up so really appreciate that 😁 Service from start to finish was amazing. The only let down was the food! $45pp includes 2 x drinks, the menu that was online at the time was no longer in use which was disappointing...the new menu - lets be real, no one wants to eat lettuce cucumber sandwiches or a spoon with watermelon with some dukkah ontop 🤦🏾♀️...those days are gone lol the chickpea crumb with the apple slice was bomb tho! For me, I would've preferred to pay for an actual meal than the high tea imo 🤷🏾♀️ The cocktails are really nice tho!! Will give this place another go, but this time will be ordering from the meals side of the menu lol.
Best tapas! I'm glad the concierge told us to come here. We got the roast mushrooms with blue cheese butter, the pork and apricot cream cheese spring rolls, the fish tacos, the lamb ribs and to finish off the dessert nougat spring rolls which were delicious!
