We rocked up here on Saturday night... the had an awesome covers band blasting a chilled crowd of locals.... This is such a great place, set up in an industrial area.. it's artistic, relaxed and the liquid refreshments are super tasty. If you adore craft beer, get along and enjoy! The cider is awesome, crisp and punchy. The owners, lovely people! You can tell this is something they love to do. You can purchase some short order tasty foods, pizza, chips, ploughman's platter. Get along g and support your community entrepreneurs.... !!!
Recommended to try this place and caught an Uber there. Dropped off out the front of what looked like the other industrial yards in the area. We thought we'd come to the wrong place. Absolutely NOTHING visually to indicate its a brewery except for a small sign out the front drive entrance. Gingerly walked in and was greeted by lady who gestured which way to go. Walked up to the 'beer garden'. Admittedly its winter now and they may of taken furniture away, but there were a few seats around. If you want to sit outside a shed on some tatty looking furniture in an industrial yard and look at other industrial 'stuff' around, this is your place. Absolutely nothing appealing about it at all. We went inside the 'shed' and liked how small and intimate it was. Friendly, welcoming staff too. Furniture dated and mismatched except for barstools, but they may of intended it to look 'quirky'. Just looked like second hand furniture thrown in purely for serving a purpose. Some great decor around the walls though and a fireplace inside. The bar area is large and looks great. Great selection of craft beers at around the $13.00 a pint mark. They have a BYO wine option which I appreciated but on their FB page, its advertised as $5.00 corkage. When we got there, I was charged $8.00. No biggie, they just need to make sure they keep their media sites updated. It was lunchtime and we were hungry so decided to order a pizza. We werent aware they didnt make their own and that it was 'sourced locally' until I later checked their website stating this. Im 99% certain that 'local source' was SPUDSHED. Simply because I buy pizzas from there and add my own extra ingredients to them. Their pizza had exactly the same ingredients and 'layout' as the pizzas I buy. It was the most tasteless pizza Ive ever eaten. They added nothing to it and charged us $20 for it. We ate it though because we were hungry and didnt want to drink on an empty stomach. We werent offered individual plates, just serviettes to catch the food falling on the table. We ate, hubby had a couple of pints of the pilsner they make and enjoyed them, but we just did not want to stay any longer so, caught a uber back to our local. As it is right now, I would not be recommending this place to anyone, or be returning ourselves. We have quite a few breweries around the Peel region with comparible prices, a decent menu and lovely ambience for this business to compete with. I wish them all the very best for the future and hope they make some changes in order to attract more people. If thats what they want of course. If they are happy and have a loyal clientele already? Good on them. Im shocked they have such a high rating on google and facebook though! Very misleading indeed. π
A tucked away hidden gem - definately worth checking this place out! I stant feeling of relaxation. The beers were friggen scrumptious - Nut Brown Ale & Milk Stout were standouts. Laid back Vibes, service was authentic, friendly, and knowledgeable. Yumbo, this is now on our places to stop when passing through Mandurah. Thanks All Malt - nailed it!
The Apple Crumble was really nice. They have Apple Cider as well. So donβt get them mixed up like I did lol. The atmosphere was really warm and inviting. Owners and staff made the whole place really inviting.
Hidden Gem in Mandurah, service and beers where fabulous. Provided a taste of ginger beer and pale ale - a surprisingly tasty combination that we will be trying again. With live music from the Mandurah Mariners Shanty group we were treated to a great first experience at All Malt and we will be back... thanks team!
