We’ve now given this place 3 chances and unfortunately tonight was the final straw. The food has been consistently poor lately, especially considering the premium prices. The sweet and sour pork was honestly inedible — thick, doughy batter, broken pieces, dry inside and incredibly heavy. The honey chicken was bizarre, more like glazed donuts with the tiniest bit of chicken hidden in the middle. The nasi campur was also disappointing. It just tasted like standard combination fried rice drowned in dark soy sauce instead of having the proper flavour you’d expect. Extremely salty and unpleasant. For the amount this food costs now, the quality is nowhere near acceptable. Such a shame because we used to enjoy ordering from here.
I ordered some takeaway to pick up and was greeted by the loveliest staff members on arrival! It was fast and efficient, and the food was even better! It was cooked perfectly, the family were happy and full. Definitely coming back to try more on the menu.
BEWARE! Just ordered delivery from Yuanman Chinese Restaurant - Falcon and received RAW chicken. Every single piece of chicken satay skewer was raw.. barely touched a grill. And half the sweet and sour chicken was raw. We called them to be told ‘oh, the oil mustn’t be hot enough..’. When I asked what they would do about it as you can’t serve raw chicken to people.. I was told they could take my phone number and get a new one.. but I’d have to pick it up.. no, sorry, we will not be coming back! Absolutely disgusting experience and customer service. Yuanman was our fave in Mandurah too.
Ordered take out last night… usually good but this time was next level! Unbelievable! The beef massaman curry we’ve had - not sure if youve changed chefs!? Original spices evident - just delish. The combination chow mein was a real hit too. Thankyou!
Staff are friendly. Would recommend you to make reservations before you dine in. Reasonable price and big portion. Sizzling Japanese tofu soo tasty so good.
